FARGO, ND - Nodak Mutual Insurance Company’s Board of Directors has declared a 9.68% dividend payment to crop hail policyholders. The dividend represents over $550,000 that will be returned to Nodak Mutual crop-hail policyholders. 

“We are pleased to be able to return approximately 10 percent of our crop hail premiums to our policyholders in the form of a dividend payment. In 2012, we had an excellent year for our crop insurance lines of business in North Dakota,” said Nodak Mutual Executive Vice President and CEO Jim Alexander. 

Dividend payments will be distributed to policyholders next week. 

Nodak Mutual Insurance Company, the 13^th largest crop hail writer in the country, is rated (A) Excellent by A.M. Best, and is the largest domestic property/casualty insurer in the state of North Dakota.
