Career Agent Scott Wilkens of Mandan took home Nodak Mutual Insurance Company's highest honor as Agent of the Year during the company's annual awards ceremony Feb. 12 at the Ramada Plaza & Suites in Fargo. 

Steven Mueller of Rugby was honored as Agent of the Year Runner-Up. Mike Bruckbauer of Fargo received the 3^rd place award in this prestigious category. These three agents earned recognition for their outstanding ability to meet their clients' insurance needs for property/casualty and life insurance during 2009.

Josh Peterka of Grafton was named New Agent of the Year for 2009.

A native of New Salem, Wilkens has been an agent with Nodak Mutual for over nine years and is a graduate of Bismarck State College.
