Career Agent Richard McKnight of Cavalier took home Nodak Mutual Insurance Company's highest honor as Agent of the Year during the company's annual awards ceremony February 10, 2012 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Fargo. 

Lana Bowers of Minot was honored as Agent of the Year Runner-Up. These two agents earned recognition for their outstanding ability to meet their clients' insurance needs for property/casualty and life insurance during 2011.

Chris Kottsick of Fargo was named New Agent of the Year for 2011.

McKnight has been an agent with Nodak Mutual since 1977 and is a four-time recipient of Nodak Mutual's highest sales award.
